Total Regen originally started out as a Main Contractor on a housing development in Clitheroe. As part of that project, Total Self-delivered the Groundworks element of the project, which consisted of brownfield land remediation, earthworks, infrastructure, substructure, and external works.
As a result, be built up a small group of skilled and directly employed workforce. From there, we went on to secure work from housebuilders and other clients alike.
Many of those people who originally started off with Total Groundworks are still employed by the company today: which is testament to the loyalty our workforce has to the company. Those who remain have a keen sense of pride in having witnessed the diversification of the business from that first, initial project.
From there, we went on to work for main contractors, undertaking groundwork packages across Clitheroe and the North West. We also started to specialise and build our Civil Engineering capabilities through the employment of our own site engineers’ staff and technical operational management.
Through client demand, we have also developed our Demolition & Remediation business, which is becoming a market leader. As a result of growth in our primary business, we have been able to develop our Plant & Transport division through investing in modern and market-leading equipment.
We have also grown our Aggregates & Recycling business, which not only supports our own operations, but has a growing client base including other building contractors, builders’ merchants, and garden centers.
