The 7th plot within the Portland Green Village construction project is an impressive addition to the development. This U-shaped, 6-storey block features a beautifully landscaped central courtyard and boasts a total of 295 en-suite bedrooms. Situated facing East, the building offers breathtaking views overlooking the City Stadium.

One notable aspect of this project is its commitment to sustainability. The building is being constructed on a brownfield site, showcasing the dedication to revitalizing and repurposing previously used land. To ensure a sturdy foundation, a structural steel frame on piled foundations has been employed. The external façades of the building are a combination of red and blue brick, which adds a touch of visual appeal. Additionally, modular rain-screen cladding panels and acrylic render have been utilized to enhance the aesthetics of the structure.

As part of the development, various amenities have been incorporated to cater to the needs of the residents. The inclusion of cycle storage promotes eco-friendly transportation options, while refuse stores ensure efficient waste management. A plant room has been set up to house necessary equipment, and car parking facilities are available for the convenience of residents and visitors. To enhance the overall appeal, the plot also features miscellaneous highway works and carefully planned landscaping.

One of the notable features of this plot is the integration of pre-fabricated showerpods into the design. These showerpods come complete with thermostatic shower units, wash hand basins, and WC’s, providing residents with a comfortable and convenient bathing experience.

The construction of the 7th plot was completed in August 2018, with a total duration of 6 weeks.
